Workout of the Week: 13th July - HIIT Circuit

p11502381.jpg

I've been really busy recently working on lots of different things and have been finding it a little bit harder to fit in a good workout. The great thing about HIIT training is that I can fit it in at home in about half an hour, without losing lots of time travelling to a studio. If I find myself with a gap between phone calls, or even while I wait for something to cook, it's a great way to fit in a good sweat! This circuit should take about 20 minutes but I recommend that you warm yourself up with some dynamic stretches first and spend a few minutes cooling down and stretching at the end too. The aim is to complete the circuit as many times as possible in 15-20 minutes, depending on your fitness level.

20 burpees

20 walking lunges (10 on each side)

20 squat jumps

20 pressups

(30 secs rest)

30 mountain climbers

20 tricep dips

30 jumping jacks

20 squats

(30 secs rest)

As always, let me know what you think of the workout and please get in touch if there is anything specific that you would like to see on next week's WOW! P1150238
