4 Books You Should Read
Just a short post today - I want you to save the reading list for some recommended reading! I've been trying my best to find quiet moments to make my way through a very long list of books that I am dying to get through! A few of you have reached out and asked for recommendations so I thought I would put together a little list of some of my recent favourites for you. The Power of Now by Eckhart Tolle
In order to become truly present, we need to learn to detach ourselves from the ego. This book uses simple language to help us to tap into the Power of Now, guiding us to surrender to the present moment and begin or continue our journey to spiritual awakening.
A New Earth by Eckhart Tolle
A follow on from The Power of Now, or a great standalone read, A New Earth is another guide to spirituality and self-improvement. It provides us with a framework to apply the ideas within The Power of Now and apply them in a way that will help us to better the world around us.
How Yoga Works by Geshe Michael Roche
Geshe Michael Roche is a Buddhist Monk who has been sharing the teachings of Buddhism since 1981. In this book, the true teachings of yoga unravel through a narrative of a young yogi to show us how yoga can connect us to who we truly are.
The Happiness Advantage by Shawn Achor
This short book guides you through seven principals of positive psychology to help us reframe the way in which we attach ourselves to the concept of happiness. Short and sweet, this is a must read for everyone!
