WOW: 21st September - HIIT Workout

Back by popular demand, here is another HIIT workout to put you to the test this week. The idea of this one is that there are 2 circuits. You do the first circuit for 5 minutes, and try to repeat it as many times as you can in that time. You then have 30 seconds rest before doing the same thing with the second circuit for 5 minutes. After you have done both circuits, you get one minutes rest before repeating that all once more!

So to summarise...

Circuit 1 - 5 mins

30 seconds rest

Circuit 2 - 5 mins

1 minute rest

Repeat

Circuit 1

Squats x 20

Squat jumps x 20

Forward lunges x 20 (10 each side)

Alternating jumping lunges x 20

Wall sit x 30 seconds

Circuit 2

Burpees x 15

Press ups x 15

Mountain climbers x 30

Ab bikes x 30 (1 repetition is 1 to each side)

Plank x 30 seconds
